• I believe in most cases (and here on the wiki) Model Foam does refer to expanded polystyrene, and that should be OK to cut. But make sure, when you buy it, you confirm that that is what you are getting. I found a few products labeled model foam for more specialized applications which didn't indicate what they were made of. Those should not be cut. Mkfink (talk) 11:15, 19 May 2015 (EDT)
