Proposal

It was verbally agreed upon in meeting that the following process be used for making proposals to change the Standing Rules.

Guideline Process for Handling an Issue and Making a Proposal

  • Champion suggests an issue for study, policy change, or rule revision
  • Announce to list and / or meeting, call for participants
  • Meet to discuss and write proposal
  • If internal conflict, then head to Board for input or approval
  • Final proposal publicized
  • A vote on the proposal
