About Me
Hi, I'm Blake. I'm a software engineer based out of Detroit, Michigan. I was born in Pueblo, Colorado, moved to Miami, Florida for college, and then to East Lansing, Michigan for math grad school at MSU where I studied geometry and topology. I started programming in 2016, and have been doing that ever since. My first software role was at a financial services company named Think Liquidity based out of Grand Rapids, MI. For the past four years, I have been working on vehicle routing problems--two years in Ford Motor Company's Autonomous Vehicles division, and two years at a Bay Area startup named Booster Fuels that specializes in mobile energy delivery. I'm currently working on electronic trading systems at a company called Tastytrade.
