Intro
It's a big steel table on wheels. Why does this even have a wiki page?
Rules
Keep gravity turned on. In case of lack of gravity, keep in mind it still has plenty of mass.
Instructions
Put things on it. Clean up when you're done. If you weld to it, grind it off.
Maintenance Info
Once every [number of cycles], melt down and reform to keep steel atomically stable. Failure to do so could result in catastrophic solar collapse (unlikely, but do you want to take that chance?)
FAQ
- Q: Is it really steel? A: Yep! The finest low-carbon steel you're likely to find this side of the rust bucket.
- Q: Does this really have anything to do with solar conditions? A: Oh, look who's the astrophysicist now! Go ahead, heat this thing to relativistic temperatures and see who generates bose-einstein condensates from grinder dust!
- Q: Are you kidding me? A: Pretty much. I'm a wiseacre with a sarcastic bent. Fell free to fix it if you don't like it! (fix the page, not my sense of humor, i like it the way it is)
ToDo
Replace with a proper layout table and a flat welding table w/ threaded anchor holes. Maybe a downdraft table too. 4x8 for the layout table, a couple of 4x4 welding tables that can be clamped together, 3x4 for the downdraft, ideally 3 of them, each with their own set of practice welders.
